September Monthly Challenge

The September monthly challenge is – Water

The next monthly challenge for September is ‘Water’. With the summer now coming to a close and the more changeable weather of the autumn beginning to arrive, there is lots of scope for a huge variety of ways to capture some high-quality images of water. Whether it is the teeming rain, sea waves, close-up splashes or fast-flowing streams that you choose to photograph, there are SO many different ways for you to interpret this subject. Please submit your ‘Water’ images by emailing them to until the closing date of 30.09.16. These should be prepared in the same format as the PDIs for assessments and trophies to a maximum size of 1400 x 1050 pixels in either dimension. Please also follow the same naming convention as used for the assessments and trophies.

I look forward to receiving your images and will upload them to Flickr as I receive them. You will be able to view them at or alternatively via the link in the ‘Gallery’ tab on the Viewfinders of Romsey website. Don’t forget if you have a Flickr account you will be able to participate further as you can ‘fave’ the ones you like best and post comments, so why not consider setting up your own account if you don’t already have one? Alternatively, if you don’t have a Flickr account you can email me at with details of images you would like to ‘fave’ and these can also then be taken into account.  All the images from the previous months’ challenges are also still available to view there, too.
