December Monthly Challenge

The December Monthly Challenge is – Illuminated

The December monthly challenge is ‘Illuminated’. With the dark evenings now here and Christmas fast approaching, there are many things around us to cover this subject. However, it’s not just about fairy lights and shop windows, there’s also been some beautiful sunlight illuminating the landscape, and it will be interesting to see what other ideas you come up with to represent this subject. There will also be additional opportunity to take some images at the Viewfinders Christmas Get-Together, an evening trip to Salisbury, so whatever you find, I am sure we will see lots of fun illuminated images.

Please submit your ‘Illuminated’ images by emailing them to blogspot@viewfinderscc.org.uk until the closing date of 31.12.17. These should be prepared in the same format as the PDIs for assessments and trophies to a maximum size of 1400 x 1050 pixels in either dimension. Please also follow the same naming convention as used for the assessments and trophies.

I look forward to receiving your images and will upload them to Flickr as I receive them. You will be able to view them at https://www.flickr.com/photos/romseyviewfinders or alternatively via the link in the ‘Gallery’ tab on the Viewfinders of Romsey website. Don’t forget if you have a Flickr account you will be able to participate further as you can ‘fave’ the ones you like best and post comments, so why not consider setting up your own account if you don’t already have one? Alternatively, if you don’t have a Flickr account you can email me at blogspot@viewfinderscc.org.uk with details of images you would like to ‘fave’ and these can also then be taken into account.  All the images from the previous months’ challenges are also still available to view there, too.
