On Sunday 24th January 2016, the RPS Digital Imaging Group are hosting a lecture by Roger Hance FRPS called ‘Visions Through a Viewfinder’. This will be a day of photography which will have something for everyone, and is an opportunity not to be missed to see a wide range of work in monochrome and colour including Natural History, Sport, Portraiture and Macro Photography. Work shown will be mainly projected images but there will also be some prints to examine.

Roger Hance FRPS
Roger has been a keen photographer for many years, and in 1990 he gained a certain degree of notoriety when he was awarded three RPS Fellowships simultaneously in the Portrait, Applied and Pictorial sections. Also in 1990 he won the `Amateur Photographer of the Year Award` in the AP magazine, judged by Patrick Lichfield. In 1998 Roger was awarded a further Natural History Fellowship and currently sits on the Natural History Distinctions Panel.
