Les Fredericks Trophies – next Tuesday

Les Fredericks Trophies

Tuesday 15th March sees the competition for the Les Fredericks Trophies at Viewfinders, with the deadline for entries being Friday 11th March. All work must be new and on the specific subjects selected – It’s All There in Black and White for Prints and Unusual Shapes for PDIs. This is always a popular trophy evening, so make sure you submit your images to Malcolm at viewfinders@hotmail.co.uk in good time and in the correct format. The judge is Colin Gogerty from Boscombe Camera Club, and he’s going to have his work cut out with the high standard of images we are sure to present to him.

Les Fredericks was a member of Viewfinders many years ago and was the driving force in getting the first of the Romsey Exhibitions off the ground (Viewfinders Exhibition). He was always very active and helpful in the running of the club, so it was decided when he died to set up these trophies in his honour, with the subjects changing each year and selected by the members.

We look forward to a full and enjoyable evening and wish you all good luck with your images – it could be you going home with the trophy next Tuesday.
