AssessmentsThe regular assessments of members' work, both in print and digital, help members to improve their photography by having their work commented upon by an independent visiting judge who provides helpful criticism and advice on composition and technique. There are two classes assessed separately: Primary and Advanced. This allows those new to photography to be assessed with similarly able members, and for the judges to be more critical of the more experienced photographers. Images are scored from 1 to 10, and advancement from Primary Class to Advanced is obtained by obtaining the required number of points. |
