Competitions and Trophies play an important part in club life providing both novice and advanced members with an opportunity to show their photographs and benefit from helpful tips and advice from the judge on points such as composition and technique.

Photographer of The Year
July 2012
For advanced members only, in both print and PDI categories, this is awarded from the results of the assessment evenings at the end of the season, with the highest scoring photographers winning the two trophies.
